Hello/ The Solo Residency / iPhone App/ Take A Bow
Hi,
It just flipped to 2010 and so far I have done absolutely nothing outside of catching up on movies, eating new york bagels and completing “The Life Strategies Workbook,” by Dr. Phil (just kidding, I haven’t had any bagels). It is, however, time to get back to “work”and a lot of exciting things are around the corner.
The Solo Residency 
Starting February 3rd I will be playing in a few cities a couple times each (New York, DC, Boston, Philadelphia and Chicago). The new record, “Take a Bow,” is due out in early May and I’ll be debuting several songs from it at these shows. I’ll also be taking requests of some of the oldies, (do not call them that to their face, they are only three years old and very sensitive). That said, I’ll be chatting live on Thursday, January 28th at noon PST (3pmEST) and you can (personally) give me your requests then. Or ask me about my new record. Take a Bow
As I mentioned before, my next record is coming out in early May. I could not be more excited about how it turned out. This time I loosened up the reins of my control issues and was joined by some dear friends on a few tracks including Ingrid Michaelson, Brian Wright, Cary Brothers and Brandon Walters. I was also lucky enough to have Greg Collins mix it again and he outdid himself. After it was finished, I packed up my studio and moved it to Brooklyn, but I will never forget the year that I snuck away to Flagstaff to write and record this record. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did making it.
I think that is just about it for now… a full-band, headlining tour is being routed now for May and I will have a lot more on that later. Thanks for reading and LISTENING. Happy New Year!
